AfriHEP USA is a Houston-registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit created to serve African diaspora families and communities with practical, relevant, and culturally grounded programs.
While AfriHEP began with strong roots in health education and community impact connected to Africa, the organization is now actively operating in the United States to serve communities where we live, lead, and build.
We believe our communities need more than inspiration alone. They need practical knowledge, trusted support, stronger families, prepared leaders, and opportunities to grow.

Many African immigrant families in the United States are building life away from the support systems they once knew. Parents are raising children between cultures. Young people are searching for guidance and role models. Families face emergencies, health concerns, and life transitions without enough practical support.
